Suddenly
stricken with paralysis and since helpless invalid for several months, Mrs.
Harry Venn, one of the pioneers of Hutchinson, passed away last night about
none o’clock at the age of 58 years, at her home, 15 Seventh Avenue West.
The
deceased was one of the oldest citizens of Hutchinson and was highly respected
and loved by her many friends and acquaintances. She was a native of London,
England, and came to Hutchinson with her husband nearly a quarter of a century
ago. Last September she received a stroke of paralysis and had been helpless
ever since until death came to her relief. Besides her husband one daughter
Mrs. J. A. St. Clair, of Seventh Avenue West survives her. The funeral will be
held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Presbyterian Church.
