The death
of Mrs. McKenzie of Third Avenue East occurred at 9:30 o’clock this morning,
of pneumonia, after only a few days illness. She was the wife of John McKenzie
of the Royal Barber Shop, and leaves the husband with two children, one but a
year old, and the other a lad of seven years of age. Mrs. McKenzie maiden name
was Hoskinson, and she was married to Mr. McKenzie in this city. Her death is
a sad blow, indeed, to the husband. The funeral will be held from the Methodist
Church tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 o’clock in charge of the Fraternal Aid
Society of which Mrs. McKenzie was a member. The barbers of the city will
close their shops tomorrow afternoon and attend the funeral in a body.
