Death of H. J. Meek

     

Henry J. Meek of 309 Ninth West, an old soldier, died early this morning of heart failure. Mr. Meek was about 64 years old and was a veteran of the Civil War. He came to Hutchinson last March and has only a few acquaintances here. A wife and son survive him. The funeral was held this afternoon at 4 o’clock from the home, under auspicious of the Grand Army of the Republic of which the deceased was a member.
